Key Responsibilities:

  1. The Senior Business Resilience Analyst will support the delivery of our Operational Resilience, business continuity, and TPRM strategy across a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
  2. They will act as an escalation point and lead to support the businesses and the Head of TPRM & Ops Resilience with reviewing BCP plans, IBS documentation, Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), supplier resilience plans, incident management, risk, and control process mapping, documentation production, and as a technical support desk (system and process) and oversight function.
  3. They will review information from various sources to produce reporting that enables informed decisions for our Resilience, business continuity, and TPRM strategy, along with ensuring correct governance and reporting to our regulators and internal stakeholders.
  4. The role will also champion the cultural change to a more proactive approach to Operational business resilience, business continuity, and TPRM.
  5. They will act as project managers for both system and process (including remediation activity) and take accountability for delivery to timescales, objectives, and budget.
  6. The role will also play a key part in reviewing and performing trend analysis on any incidents, scenario tests, and issues that arise so that we can proactively take steps to minimize future impact should these events occur again.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in Business Continuity/Operational Resilience, TPRM, and Crisis Management.
  2. Good experience in facilitating meetings and workshops at operational and senior management levels.
  3. Strong knowledge in the production of formal policy/procedural type documentation.
  4. A sound understanding of business operating models within a financial services/insurance company.
  5. Experience of planning BC rehearsals and testing activities.
  6. Good analysis skills.
  7. Advanced user of MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Visio.

Desirable:

  1. 2+ years of data analysis / Reporting.
  2. Previous Risk knowledge.
  3. Project management (Prince 2 or equivalent).
