Job Description

Term Time Teachers is seeking a dedicated and caring After-School Club supervisor to support local schools in the Tunbridge Wells area with their wrap-around care programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with both children and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safe arrival and departure of children at the club.
  • Planning and preparing safe, creative, and engaging activities in a fun and caring environment.
  • Minimising risks and conducting daily risk assessment checks.
  • Preparing and serving snacks/refreshments while maintaining hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • Administering and recording first aid as necessary.
  • Setting up the room for daily activities and maintaining the cleanliness of the space and equipment.
  • Positive management of children's behaviour.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development and well-being.
  • First aid training is desirable but not essential.
