Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our inpatient Surgical Ward and Day Surgery teams at our Acute Hospital site in Bath, Somerset.

Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a rotational role between the Surgical Ward and Day Surgery Unit. You will work closely with our experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing individualized patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  2. Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
  3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  4. Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  2. Current or recent experience in a Surgical Ward or Day Surgery setting
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
