Purpose of the Assistant Headteacher - SENCO Role

The post holder will support the Headteacher in promoting effective education and care, contributing to the learning, personal development, and wellbeing of all students. As an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), they will discharge individual responsibilities to a high standard, supporting the work of the team at all times.

The Assistant Headteacher - SENCO will work closely with the Headteacher, SLT, and colleagues to ensure statutory compliance and lead strategic areas of school development. They will be proactive in establishing communications that foster good relations with stakeholders and provide information and advice to the Headteacher and Regional Director.
