CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Busy Bee Recruitment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and programming a variety of CNC machines, including those with Fanuc controls. Your mission will be to machine components to precision perfection, while hitting productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual and CNC multi-axis machine centres
  • Develop new parts in collaboration with NPI teams
  • Keep documentation up to date, informing the team leader at all times of any issues
  • Ensure you strive to achieve the machine shop's productivity targets
  • Support development to improve skills and flexibility
  • Maintain and adhere to all H&S standards and requirements
  • Will be willing to undertake any task asked of them by the business
Requirements:
  • Experience in programming and operating Fanuc control system
  • An understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
  • Experience in using CMM machines
  • Experience in using inspection equipment
  • Will be willing to work overtime where required
  • Good problem solving skills
