Key Responsibilities

As a freelance interpreter, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Interpreting in various settings, including healthcare, government, and law enforcement
  • Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide accurate and timely interpretations
  • Checking the understanding of non-English speakers after each sentence and ensuring that they comprehend the information being communicated


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Fluent in English and Kurdish
  • Aged 21 or over
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or Community Interpreting
