About the Role
Cafcass Liverpool is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Social Worker to join their team as a Family Court Adviser. As a Family Court Adviser, you will play a critical role in supporting children and families through the family court process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to the court on cases involving children and families
- Work with children, families, and other professionals to identify the needs of families and develop effective plans to support them
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the legal framework surrounding family court proceedings and stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in the field
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, other professionals, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with 3+ years' experience in a family court setting
- Expertise in safeguarding and Section 7 (Private Law) knowledge
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when working with sensitive and confidential information
