Director of Inclusive Education

Job Summary:
\We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our inclusive education team. As the Director of Inclusive Education, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support learners with additional needs, ensuring they have access to high-quality services that meet their individual requirements.
About the Role:
\The successful candidate will have experience in managing teams and working closely with stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, such as the SEND Code of Practice, and developing partnerships with local authorities and other external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of specialist staff to deliver high-quality support services\
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve outcomes for learners with additional needs\
- Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a joined-up approach to support\
- Maintain accurate records and reports to monitor progress and inform decision-making\
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in inclusive education and share best practices within the organisation\
- Cultivate strong relationships with local authorities, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and mutual understanding\\/ul>
Requirements:
\To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

- Experience in leading and managing teams in an educational setting\
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the SEND Code of Practice\
- Able to develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes for learners with additional needs\
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders\
- Possession of a degree in education, special educational needs, or a related field, and a recognised teaching qualification\\/ul>
Salary and Benefits:
\The salary for this role is approximately £43,457 per annum, plus benefits, including access to local government pensions scheme, up to 44 days annual leave per year, and access to on-site gyms, restaurants, and salons.
