Job Title: Innovative Teacher Leader

We are seeking a talented and visionary teacher to lead our art and design department. As an inspirational leader, you will have the ability to motivate students and inspire them to achieve their full potential in creative subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum in art and design.
  2. Staff Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in creative subjects.
  3. Student Progression: Monitor and track student progress, providing targeted support to those who require additional help.
  4. Community Engagement: Develop relationships with local arts organizations and community groups to provide opportunities for students to engage with real-world creative projects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  1. A PgCE with a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent international qualification is essential for this role.
  2. An up-to-date DBS certificate is also required.
  3. Excellent subject knowledge and a strong understanding of the British Curriculum are necessary for success in this position.
  4. Maintaining exceptional classroom practice and working collaboratively with colleagues are key aspects of this role.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
