Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Wood Machinist to join our team at a family-run manufacturing business in Devon. As a Wood Machinist, you will be responsible for operating power tools and hand tools to cut and shape wood materials, assisting with loading and unloading materials, and completing various tasks to support the day-to-day operations.
About the Role:
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut and shape wood materials to size and specification.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials into vehicles and storage areas.
- Perform various tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing business, including stacking products and making products to order.
Requirements:
- Keen eye for detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with woodworking equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Keen eye for numeracy, accuracy, and quality control.
Working Hours and Pay:
- Monday to Friday, 0700am – 1700pm or 0800am – 1700pm.
- £12.00 per hour.

- Milling.
