Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at SC4 Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials across our global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Supply Chain Manager - Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to execute the activities of the Planning Team, ensuring alignment with short, medium and long-term business objectives.
- Order Management - Manage the end-to-end order management process, encompassing order processing and master data alignment.
- Supply and Demand Balances - Identify issues related to supply and demand imbalances and communicate them to demand and production planning teams promptly.
- Freight Forwarding - Schedule and organise product shipments by sea and road, with experience in dealing with imports from the Far East into UK /Europe; and exports from the Far East to various countries worldwide.
- Inventory Management - Reconcile system inventory with physical inventory and ensure accuracy.
- Logistics Planning - Work with shipment timelines, proactively planning for public holidays and their impact on production and dispatch schedules.
Requirements:
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience - Proven experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
- Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and ability to build relationships, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.
