The People Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality advice to clients in a productive manner, ensuring efficient solutions are delivered.
  • Receiving and responding to a variety of client calls, handling HR issues and queries, including absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries.
  • Providing clients with supporting information and documentation to assist them in implementing advice and solutions.
  • Using their expert HR and employment law knowledge to develop clear answers for clients.
  • Reviewing client documentation and providing advice, taking into account applicable internal terms and conditions.
  • Ensuring all requests for advice are dealt with within the relevant service level agreement (SLA).

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should have:

  • Good employment law knowledge, either through studies or working experience.
  • A CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in the workplace is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a KPI/target-driven environment, ideally in a shared service centre, would be highly desirable.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritising workload accordingly.
  • An organised self-starter.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
