The People Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality advice to clients in a productive manner, ensuring efficient solutions are delivered.
- Receiving and responding to a variety of client calls, handling HR issues and queries, including absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries.
- Providing clients with supporting information and documentation to assist them in implementing advice and solutions.
- Using their expert HR and employment law knowledge to develop clear answers for clients.
- Reviewing client documentation and providing advice, taking into account applicable internal terms and conditions.
- Ensuring all requests for advice are dealt with within the relevant service level agreement (SLA).
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should have:
- Good employment law knowledge, either through studies or working experience.
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in the workplace is desirable.
- Previous experience in a KPI/target-driven environment, ideally in a shared service centre, would be highly desirable.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritising workload accordingly.
- An organised self-starter.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving performance-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
