Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Property Condition Manager to lead our National Stock Condition Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of surveyors to ensure that our homes are safe, warm, and secure.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a housing professional to join our team as a Senior Property Condition Manager. As part of our National Stock Condition Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of surveyors to schedule and carry out stock condition surveys in line with annual targets.

You will work closely with our Customer Experience (CX) and Homes Operations teams to develop and embed new processes and systems to share customer and property information and leverage additional value from stock condition and other activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must hold an HND (or equivalent qualification) in construction, housing, management, or property, or possess equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Have demonstrable experience in leading and managing high-performance, remote teams to deliver surveying or similar services, consistently meeting annual targets.
  • Have experience of collecting, auditing, owning and improving asset data.
  • Have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective customer engagement and communication plans.
  • Have experience of collaborating across large organisations to build stakeholder relationships, enhance customer-facing services, and improve data collection activities.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the Decent Homes Standard, component lifecycles, HHSRS Rating System, and domestic construction methods and issues.
  • Be self-driven with a proactive approach to managing personal workload and identifying service improvement opportunities.
  • Have strong understanding of building components, common issues, and hazards, with proven ability to diagnose and address defects.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, able to handle challenging situations with empathy, professionalism, and a positive outlook.
  • Be proficient in IT, with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Housing Management systems.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, 25 days' annual leave, and a flexible working policy.
