Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our Quality team in Leeds and ensure that all suppliers meet the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting suppliers, conducting supplier kick off meetings, managing supplier selection and development, completing full dimensional inspections, and applying knowledge of engineering drawings and P&ID.

To excel in this role, you will require an engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications, experience in inspection and industry practices, pump or rotating equipment experience is highly desirable, and certifications in NDT, CSWIP, NACE, or CompEx.

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 per annum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting suppliers
  • Conducting supplier kick off meetings
  • Managing supplier selection and development
  • Completing full dimensional inspections
  • Applying knowledge of engineering drawings and P&ID

Qualifications and Experience:

  • An engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications
  • Experience in inspection and industry practices
  • Pump or rotating equipment experience is highly desirable
  • Certifications in NDT, CSWIP, NACE, or CompEx
