Job Title: Senior Trainer / Tutor / Educator

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Trainer / Tutor / Educator to join our team at AWD online. As a Senior Trainer / Tutor / Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training and teaching sessions to learners across our education portfolio.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality technical training and teaching sessions to learners
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and curriculum resources
  • Ensure course materials and resources are current and reflect industry best practice
  • Teach and support learners in both practice and theory
  • Identify learner starting points and infill gaps in knowledge and skills
  • Work with colleagues to ensure the highest possible standards of student experience
Requirements:
  • Professional experience of Entertainment Technology and Production
  • A primary specialism in one of the following areas: Production Management, Staging and Rigging, Lighting Technologies, Live Sound Technologies, Audio Visual Technologies
  • Familiarity with contemporary live event performance and production and their cultural, social and industry contexts
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to pastoral and academic support of students
  • Teaching qualification or a willingness to undertake such a qualification within two years
