Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team at a fantastic secondary school located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to students up to KS3, 4 and 5, and contribute to the further development of the school.

Salary Information

Pay is on the M1-UPS Pay Scale, providing a competitive salary for this role.

About the Job

The English Teacher appointed to this position must maintain a high quality of teaching to ensure pupils achieve their targets. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly environment.

Responsibilities include creating a safe and supportive learning environment, with routines and structures that align with the school's core values and ethos.

An enhanced DBS check will take place prior to employment.

Requirements

This school requires an English Teacher with experience in a UK classroom and a recognised Teaching qualification and UK QTS. An up-to-date CV with at least two school-based references within the last 2 years is necessary.

Both British trained teachers and overseas-trained teachers who have eligibility to work in the UK will be considered.
