About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our team at Co-op Academy Smithies Moor. As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading a Year One class and providing guidance and support to colleagues across the phase. You will work closely with Senior Leaders to develop and implement teaching and learning strategies that drive student achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Year One class and develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues across the phase, including ECTs, teachers, and support staff
- Contribute to the development and implementation of teaching and learning strategies that drive student achievement
- Work closely with Senior Leaders to ensure the effective implementation of school policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent teaching and leadership skills
- Proven experience of leading a Year One class and developing and implementing effective teaching and learning strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and Senior Leaders to drive student achievement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
