The Opportunity

Leonardo offers a range of degree apprenticeships in project management, providing a unique blend of academic learning and on-the-job experience. As a degree apprentice, you will work alongside experienced project managers to develop the skills and knowledge required to deliver complex projects.

Throughout the programme, you will study for a BSc Honours degree in project management, gaining a solid understanding of project management principles, practices, and techniques. You will also have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, applying your knowledge and skills in a practical setting.

As a degree apprentice, you will be employed by Leonardo and will receive a competitive salary and benefits package. You will also have access to a range of training and development opportunities, including mentorship, coaching, and industry-recognized certifications.

The degree apprenticeship in project management is a 4-year programme, during which you will complete a series of placements within different functions or departments in the business. This will give you a broad understanding of the company and the opportunity to develop a range of skills and expertise.

On successful completion of the programme, you will be awarded a BSc Honours degree in project management and will be eligible to become a full member of the Association for Project Management (APM). You will also have the opportunity to pursue a career in project management, working on a range of exciting and challenging projects.

Qualifications

You must have (as a minimum) the following qualifications:

3 x A Levels (A*- C) one of which must be English, Maths or a Business related subject

OR

An alternative Level 3 qualification, which must be a business-related subject

AND

GCSE (Grade 4 - 9 / A*- C) in Maths and English

The starting salary for this role is £20,500.
