Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Workshop Supervisor to oversee a busy workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing team members, communicating effectively with operations, and ensuring quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the HGV workshop, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage and motivate a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all documentation and planning is accurate and up-to-date, and that quality control procedures are followed.
  • Liaise with the parts department to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and minimize delays.
  • Monitor and maintain a high level of quality control, ensuring all work meets the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a busy Automotive workshop environment, with a strong understanding of HGV maintenance and repair.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with operations and other departments.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
