Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our team at ERSG, where you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality drawings and models for our offshore projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with project designers and engineers to develop innovative solutions and optimize project outcomes.
  • Work on complex drawings for transport, lifting, and hoisting operations, as well as foundations in the sea, required for offshore platform installations and removals.
  • Develop drawings that meet the Drawing Control procedure and department standards, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to challenges in structural design, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Create 3D simulations and installation controls for projects involving ships, utilizing tools such as Microstation and AutoCAD.

Requirements:

  • A completed Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 1-5 years' experience as a Draughtsman, with a strong understanding of industry standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work temporarily offshore on our ships or abroad, with a proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Affinity with work preparation and planning, with excellent communication skills in the English language, both orally and in writing.
  • Flexibility and a team player mentality, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK, with no visa sponsorship required.
