This is a permanent contract involving shift work, offering a salary of circa £45,700 plus shift allowance, paid overtime, and excellent company benefits.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, assemble, install, test, maintain, and improve mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Work with relevant functions to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, machinery, and specialty equipment.
  • Understand and adhere to protocols for working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
  • Perform work in accordance with schematic diagrams, operation manuals, and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.
  • Schedule maintenance activities around production requirements.
  • Participate actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Requirements

  • Fault find on complex electrical and mechanical systems and interpret Schematic drawings.
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems is required.
  • Knowledge of Machine safety systems, LOTO procedures, and safe work practices is paramount.

Qualifications

  • Must be an experienced time served Maintenance Technician supported by NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • ONC/HNC qualified in a relevant discipline, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic.
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs would be advantageous, with the ability to fault find and execute program modifications.
  • Robot Experience would be advantageous.
