Ophthalmic Imaging Technician

As a Retinal Screener/Grader, your key responsibilities will include:
- Explaining the screening process to patients and obtaining consent
- Undertaking visual acuity checks and instilling eye drops as required
- Acquiring digital photographic retinal images and OCT scans according to national standards
- Accurately recording test results and clinical information in electronic patient case notes
- Grading digital images at primary, secondary, and arbitration levels
You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and escalating any equipment or IT system faults to a member of the operational team.
