Quality Compliance Supervisor

Puratos is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Compliance Supervisor to join our team in Bicknor, Kent, UK. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and manage fruit testing, finished product testing, and issue COA's upon positive release of finished products.
  • Assist the Technical Department in continuous improvement programs and maintaining the Quality Management System.
  • Perform BRC base-level audits, Quality Assurance, Glass, Plastic Audits, GMP Tours, CCP checks, and validation.
  • Ensure COVID Secure Audit Compliance and H & S compliance, Factory Master entries, tours, and scheduling.
  • Maintain the QC database and filing system, monitor and evaluate the product testing database, and assist the technical department in internal audits.
  • Conduct daily production records, logs, and maintain a fruit stock database.
  • Issue fruit to production based on test results and assist the stockkeeper in fruit selection.
  • Conduct and monitor daily cleaning verification by swabbing and maintaining the software database.
  • Test and positive release products, filing and maintaining COA's records, and effectively communicate with customers by providing timely COA's.
Requirements:
  • Food Safety Hygiene Level 2, status training, and schedule development.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, effective communication with members of staff.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to add, subtract, and multiply in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Good organisational skills, multi-tasking, and flexibility.
