Job Overview
The James Paget University Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced radiographer to join its team of CT professionals. This challenging role requires strong clinical and supervisory skills, with the successful candidate providing training and support to the team.

About the Role
This Band 7 position offers a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a BSC/DCR qualification, HCPC registration, and experience working at band 6 or above in CT. Advanced knowledge of CT, including contrast and cannulation procedures, is also essential.

Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will supervise and support staff, develop and review policies and procedures related to CT, ensure quality assurance and safety protocols are maintained, and provide leadership and deputise for the Head of CT/MR as needed. They will also identify opportunities for service development and improvement, and develop business cases where necessary.

Key Requirements
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate advanced knowledge of CT, including contrast and cannulation procedures. They will also need to have experience working at band 6 or above in CT, and hold a BSC/DCR qualification and HCPC registration. Pathways and targets experience/knowledge, CPD demonstration and research/audit experience/knowledge are also desirable.
