About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Furniture Technologist to join our Home Technology team at Next. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our furniture products, working closely with the Product Team to develop and launch new ranges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of furniture construction and performance
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to design and develop new products
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and inspections to ensure products meet performance and safety standards
  • Provide technical support to the Product Team and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of furniture construction and performance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
