About the Role

We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our Cambridge team to support our procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Procuring assigned parts, materials, supplies, equipment, and services for the operation of our business.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Scanning delivery notes and maintaining records for orders.
  • Communicating with end-users and suppliers as required.
  • Liaising with internal departments, including warehousing, planning, manufacturing, and logistics.
  • Tracking order confirmation and deliveries of inbound shipments.
  • Supporting the optimization of stocking strategies.
  • Liaising with the Finance Team to ensure timely payment of invoices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A technical and analytical background.
  • General Supply Chain Management skills.
  • Price, Contract, and Payment negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
