Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Control Clerk to join our team at the Window Systems Division. As a Stock Control Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our stock portfolio across multiple sites using Microsoft Dynamics Navision (WMS). Your primary goal will be to improve efficiency within the current team to safeguard stock and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory control practices
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and assist in stock takes
  • Assist in checking the correctness and condition of customer orders
  • Investigate customer order discrepancies
  • Assist with stock-taking activities
  • Support the operations team in their duties
  • Keep detailed records of shortages and damage items
  • Encourage a positive and engaged workforce culture within your team/department
  • Operate with the highest levels of integrity, support, and cooperation with your team, peers, and other internal and external contacts
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, management systems, and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality
  • Represent the organization in a positive way to avoid damage to the corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute
  • Follow all company health and safety requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of using an ERP system may be beneficial
  • MHE driving experience is not essential but would be beneficial
  • A friendly and hard-working disposition
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Excel knowledge – basic/intermediate user
