Family Medicine Physician

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Deal & Sandwich Primary Care Network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and urgent appointments, both face-to-face and via telephone, ensuring high-quality care
• Prescribe according to local and national guidelines
• Handle home visits for routine and emergency cases
• Manage administrative tasks, such as letters, results, referrals, and emails, in a timely manner
• Make appropriate referrals and manage related admin
• Check and sign repeat prescriptions to maintain care quality
• Provide cover for colleagues in emergencies, considering individual commitments
• Participate in on-call sessions as per pro-rata hours
• Support Extended Hours services, enhancing patient access
• Collaborate with other health and social care providers to deliver integrated care
• Maintain accurate consultation records using the EMIS clinical system

Requirements:

• Newly qualified GP (within 2 years and not having had a substantive post) with full GMC registration and license to practice
• Experience of working in a GP training practice using EMIS
• Experience of dealing with a range of clinical conditions
• Experience of providing home visits

Working Arrangements:

The salary for this position is £80,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
