Job Title: Property Facultative Underwriter

We are seeking a talented and driven Property Facultative Underwriter to join our prestigious International Property Facultative Team in our London office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and underwrite a diverse book of complex international property facultative accounts.
  • Follow guidelines and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Deliver top-notch service, build relationships, and expand business opportunities through proactive marketing and sales efforts.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics.
Requirements:
  • Experience gained in underwriting property insurance or reinsurance from an Underwriting Assistant / Assistant Underwriter position, preferably with a focus on high-hazard manufacturing and energy risks.
  • Proficiency in using technical rating tools, including catastrophe models.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent skills in communication and negotiation.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive under pressure.
  • In-depth understanding of the London and international reinsurance markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in claims, risk management, or loss control.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating complex facultative programs.
