Marine Power Specialist

We are seeking a Marine Power Specialist to join our forward-looking Marine Power Team. The position is permanent and location in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing daily workshop service tasks, such as component inspections, overhauling /reconditioning, modifications, cleaning, machining, on a variety of 4-stroke engine components.
- Undergoing the appropriate training to gain the competencies needed to excel in this role.
- Liaising closely with the Workshop Team Leader and other Workshop Technicians to ensure work scopes are kept within specified delivery schedule.
- Ensuring that all activities in the workshop and on-site are carried out in accordance with the site safety rules and in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety standard ISO 45001/2018.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out to ISO 9001/2015 standards.
Requirements:
- HNC/ONC in Mechanical Engineering or can demonstrate equivalent practical experiences.
- Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or can demonstrate equivalent practical experiences.
- Worked to ISO 45001/2018 and ISO9001/2015 standards.
- Experience in the Marine Sector and specifically in maintaining 4-stroke engines.
- A genuine interest in Engineering and working with your hands.
