Job Summary
Kings Lynn is home to a leading manufacturer seeking an experienced Production Planner. This role offers a great opportunity for someone with proven experience in a manufacturing environment to support production planning and scheduling across multiple lines, ensuring materials and inventory are available on time. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Production Planner will be responsible for creating production supply instructions, maintaining capacity plans, managing material orders, and ensuring timely communication between various teams. They will support the Plant Manager with customer queries, production schedules, and inventory management to ensure efficient operations. Key responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining capacity plans across multiple production lines, ensuring production lines have accurate and timely manufacturing instructions, communicating demand fluctuations and capacity concerns to the Plant Manager and Line Leaders, and scheduling work orders, creating purchase orders, and managing inventory in the ERP system.

The successful candidate will have excellent MS Excel skills and experience working in a similar manufacturing role. A strong understanding of production planning and control processes is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
