About the Role:

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our client's team in London. As a key member of the legal department, you will be responsible for advising on a range of commercial matters, including contract drafting and negotiations. You will also provide guidance on legislation affecting the business and assist with litigation matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, particularly in the energy sector. They will have at least 2 years PQE experience and a qualified solicitor with a 2:1 degree. Experience working in-house and in private practice is preferred, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on high value tenders;
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts;
  • Providing guidance on legislation affecting the business;
  • Assisting with litigation matters;
  • Preparing and delivering training on current legal issues.

Salary: £350-£400 per day inside IR35.
