Reinsurance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Lead to join our team at Liberty Specialty Markets. As a key member of our Global Risk Solutions team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end long-tail reinsurance treaty placements, including the production and analysis of data required for modeling and pricing suitable products.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the reinsurance treaty placement process, ensuring accurate and timely execution of reinsurance structures.
- Collaborate closely with the Outwards Reinsurance Operations team to ensure seamless handoff of reinsurance structures.
- Work closely with Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, Capital Management, Exposure Management, and Claims teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of all Reinsurance Treaties.
- Develop and maintain reports for reinsurance monitoring purposes, including monitoring FAC RI spend, assessing RI treaty performance, and monitoring credit risk exposure.
- Contribute to the review of regulatory reports, such as Solvency II forms, demonstrating a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Run various annual reinsurance renewal processes, including data submission preparation and review, and delivery of the reinsurance placements.
- Maintain the various internal reinsurance allocation models.
- Coordinate annual internal and external reinsurance planning.
- Fundamental knowledge of reinsurance.
- Strong ability to adapt and address unique challenges in collaborative and creative ways.
- Displays advanced communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
- Advanced business operations knowledge to include understanding the function's value chain and market conditions.
- Advanced knowledge of data management and manipulation in MS Excel.
