About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our trading team. As a keyholder, you will be responsible for overseeing the running of our shop on a Sunday, supporting a talented and diverse team of volunteers, and assisting the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the shop on a Sunday, including taking keyholder responsibility and supporting the volunteer team.
  • Assist the shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
  • Review and process donated goods and new stock.
  • Develop creative ideas to generate new income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure our customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
  • Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to create relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in retail and fashion is desirable.
