About the Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team at First Bus Careers. As a vehicle maintenance technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in our vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in HGV and PSV vehicles
  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks
  • Comply with all relevant legislation and Group Policies
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required

Working Hours:

The shift will be a rotating 4 over 7 days, with early and late shifts available. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Hourly Rate:

Monday to Friday: £22.01 per hour

Saturday and Sunday: £23.01 per hour

About You:

  • You will have a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard qualification and experience with HGV or PSV vehicles
  • You will have a flexible approach to working hours
  • You will have an aptitude to develop others within an Engineering Team
  • A PCV licence is desirable, but not essential
