Job Overview

Carrington West is seeking a highly experienced Strategic Planning Leader to join their Planning Team in Kent.

About the Role

This contract role will cover maternity leave and involves managing a small team of planning officers, as well as dealing with a caseload of planning applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a small team of planning officers
  • Deal with a caseload of planning applications
  • Attend site visits, face-to-face meetings/workshops, and consultation with the local plan

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and be able to attend the office on a semi-regular basis.

Salary Details

We are offering a salary of £57-62 per hour, making this an attractive opportunity for experienced DM Town Planners.

Benefits

This is a 9-month contract with the option to extend up to 12 months if required. Hybrid working is offered, but the hiring manager is looking for a contractor who can attend the office regularly.
