Job Title: Financial Accountant About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team at Health Jobs UK. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in a large organization and knowledge of the NHS finance regime. Main Responsibilities: * Provide expert financial advice and oversight of financial management for the corporate pay and non-pay accounts, including the ICB running costs. * Contribute to the month-end reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of the monthly financial position both internally and externally to the organization. * Monitor financial performance against agreed budgets, analyzing and reporting on variances and assisting in formulating corrective actions. * Ensure the provision of high-quality financial reporting to budget holders and other non-finance managers. Person Specification: * Essential qualifications: CCAB part-qualified or AAT qualified. * Essential skills: High levels of accountancy, technical, and IT skills, with experience of financial management in a range of organizations or areas. * Analytical skills: High level analytical skills and the ability to draw qualitative and quantitative data from a wide range of sources and present in a clear concise manner. * Ability to analyze numerical and written data, assess options, and draw appropriate conclusions. * Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
