Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Multidisciplinary Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The Compleat Food Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our plant and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and diagnose breakdown repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure production targets are met.
  • Record all work details using our CMMS system, ensuring entries are of sufficient standard for reference and traceability.
  • Carry out repairs to the plant and infrastructure using procedural controls and following GMP procedures.
  • Support colleagues in adopting correct operating procedures and ensure H&S is not compromised in any way.
  • Contribute to the development of new working methods and actively participate in continuous improvement.
  • Provide logical reasoning and approaches to engineering and operational issues, identifying potential CI initiatives.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold industry-relevant qualifications or be an apprentice-trained multiskilled engineer with a strong electrical bias. Experience of working in a Food Manufacturing/FMCG environment is beneficial. You will have excellent fault-finding skills, working knowledge of AC/DC motors and controls, and a good understanding of servo-controlled equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
