About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Trainer to join our dynamic team at Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and development programs to our staff and learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs for Safeguarding, Positive Behaviour Management, and Paediatric First Aid
  • Develop and implement effective training solutions to ensure learners have the best possible experience
  • Ensure equal opportunities are implemented in all training programs
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to policies and adapt training content accordingly
  • Work with Training Administrators to ensure attendance is recorded and effective systems are in place
  • Support the Quality team and settings through OMEP/ESC, including baseline, coaching, and final audit
  • Conduct quality assurance for workshops and courses
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
  • Superb time-keeping skills and ability to work on your own initiative
  • IT competency
  • Due to the nature of the role, you will need to possess your own vehicle and hold a valid Driver's Licence and be willing to travel across the company
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • A level 3 qualification in Early Years / Education, or equivalent, is desirable and/or have significant occupational competency in the Early Years / Education sector
  • A teaching qualification (e.g. AET) would be advantageous. Alternatively, candidates must be willing to work towards this qualification
  • A First Aid at Work (FAW) Qualification, Alternatively, candidates must be willing to work towards this qualification

Interview Process
  • First stage: If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to a telephone interview with our Talent Team
  • Second stage: If successful, you will be invited to the final interview stage which will consist of an online interview with our Learning and Development Manager
