An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in Manchester.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the progress and achievement of a high-achieving class, working closely with the class teacher to identify and address the needs of children with additional needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Supporting a pupil with SEND on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the young individual under your care
- Cultivating a stimulating, secure, and nurturing learning environment for pupils
This rewarding role offers a competitive pay rate of £84-£90 per day, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will commence as soon as possible.
About You:To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent references showcasing previous experience in EYFS/KS1/KS2, a comprehensive CV covering full employment history, and the legal right to work in the UK.
- Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere
- Providing individualised support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum
- Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials and organising resources for lessons
- Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
- Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices
- Prioritising income, securing the highest pay rate and offering expert guidance
- Prioritising development, providing access to over 2,500 CPD courses, webinars, and resources through the National College
- Tailoring the working week to your needs, offering daily supply, long-term contracts, and permanent positions available locally
