About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Technician to lead our Civil Engineering team in Building Information Modelling (BIM). As a key member of our Buildings practice, you will be responsible for shaping project success through effective modelling, coordination, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production and coordination of BIM models relating to the Civil Engineering discipline
  • Develop and implement BIM practices within the Civil Engineering team, utilising the latest digital techniques to ensure the team stays ahead of industry standards
  • Assist the Team Director in developing a digital strategy with short, medium, and long-term targets
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, enhancing their skill knowledge and BIM practices while ensuring compliance with BIM standards
About You
  • BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering and working towards Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers
  • Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and REVIT, with a working knowledge of Civils 3D
  • Experience of working in a collaborative, federated BIM environment using clash detection software as necessary
  • Ability to think outside the box to identify improved procedures, protocols, and methods to enhance modelling contract deliverables
