Electrical Project Engineer

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to provide engineering services for capital and special revenue projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead key projects from conception through to completion, making a lasting impact on the future of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans in line with long-term strategies, ensuring all phases, from concept to final acceptance, are fully delivered.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards during all lifecycle phases, including design, specification, installation, and maintenance.
  • Support improvement and capital plans as decided by the Senior Engineering team.
  • Provide expert engineering support for improvement work and problem-solving.
  • Assist in setting company policies in line with ISO/IEC, EN, BS, and guidance.
  • Organise and document safety studies, such as risk assessments, HAZOP, and FMEA.
  • Participate in call-out systems for plant support and provide out-of-hours assistance as needed.
  • Use SAP and manage changes with the creation of Management of Change documents.
Requirements

As a skilled Electrical Project Engineer, you will have a background in Electrical engineering and be able to lead key projects from conception through to completion. You will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and providing expert engineering support for improvement work and problem-solving.

You will also be required to assist in setting company policies in line with ISO/IEC, EN, BS, and guidance, and participate in call-out systems for plant support and provide out-of-hours assistance as needed.

Proficiency in SAP and the ability to manage changes with the creation of Management of Change documents is also essential.
