Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex and specialist needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment, where you will have the chance to grow and develop your skills as a specialist Occupational Therapist. You will be responsible for assessing, setting goals, and providing treatment to patients with complex and specialist needs, as well as leading and supervising a team of Occupational Therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with complex and specialist needs, using evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Occupational Therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical audits and research, contributing to the development of specialist services and relevant policies.
Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and has a strong background in specialist Occupational Therapy. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and leading teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
