Graduate Management Trainee Position

Brent Council is committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our community. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Graduate Management Trainee to join our team and contribute to the development of our organisation.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience and build their skills in areas such as project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis. You will work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement new initiatives that drive positive change in our borough.
As a Graduate Management Trainee, you will have access to a comprehensive training programme, including a postgraduate-level qualification from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). You will also have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from supporting the development of new policies to analysing data and providing insights that inform decision-making.
We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong desire to learn and grow. Successful applicants will be required to demonstrate their understanding of the Impact key skills and behaviours, which include Working with Others, Effective Communication, Planning and Organisation, Results Focus and Adaptability, Analysis and Problem Solving, Motivation for Learning and Personal Resilience, Commitment to Local Government and the Wider Community, and Leadership Potential.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including optional third year, support throughout the application process, live and work in a diverse area you are familiar with, exposure to senior leaders, strong support network, and employed on a fixed-term contract.
To be eligible for this role, you must have obtained a 2.2 undergraduate degree in any subject by summer 2025 and have the right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship.
