Biomedical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team at French Consulting. This role involves providing operations support at the Medical Equipment Repair Section, ensuring the maintenance and repair of medical equipment in healthcare facilities.
About the Role
As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing, calibrating, and maintaining medical equipment used in the healthcare field. This includes performing tasks such as inspection and installation of medical equipment, testing and evaluation of new equipment, and bench work on mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of three years' experience in hospital or healthcare settings, with knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications. You must also possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Additionally, you will need to obtain certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, and public health clearance. A valid driver's license is also required for this position.
