Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Community Nursing Team as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and leadership skills to manage and develop the team's clinical practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Community Nursing Team, providing clinical expertise and guidance to team members.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and stakeholders.

Person Specification
  • Registered General Nurse with a District Nursing Practitioner qualification and Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification.
  • Post-registration experience in a community setting, with training and short courses in leadership and management.
  • Practice assessor/supervisor qualification and Registered Mentor status.
