Accounts Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support our Financial Services client in Swindon. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance with financial document preparation, handling accounts payable and receivable, and carrying out bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with financial document preparation and maintenance
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Carry out bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
  • Process payroll and manage employee data
  • Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, to input information accurately
  • Deliver exceptional customer service via email and phone, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues
  • Perform administrative duties as required, contributing to a collaborative team environment
Requirements:
  • A solid background in basic accounting principles, demonstrated through work experience in a similar role
  • Experience using accounting software, preferably QuickBooks and Xero
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • An enthusiastic approach to work and a team player attitude
