We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support our Financial Services client in Swindon. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance with financial document preparation, handling accounts payable and receivable, and carrying out bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with financial document preparation and maintenance
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Carry out bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
- Process payroll and manage employee data
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, to input information accurately
- Deliver exceptional customer service via email and phone, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues
- Perform administrative duties as required, contributing to a collaborative team environment
- A solid background in basic accounting principles, demonstrated through work experience in a similar role
- Experience using accounting software, preferably QuickBooks and Xero
- A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- An enthusiastic approach to work and a team player attitude
This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary in the region of £32,000pa, plus benefits including private medical insurance and free on-site parking.
