Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist

Position Overview: We are currently in search of a Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist for our client, focusing on a temporary engagement.
Compensation: The remuneration will be discussed and is expected to range between £20-22 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals from their initial contact with the service throughout their treatment and recovery process;
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop recovery strategies along with referrals to additional services;
- Mitigate the impact of substance misuse on both individuals and the surrounding community;
- Encourage involvement from caregivers, service users, and the community;
- Advocate for access to collaborative services;
- Collaborate with service users to facilitate social reintegration, empowering them to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives by promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
Requirements: An Enhanced DBS check for both Adults and Children will be necessary for this role.
