About the Role

Arthur Recruitment is seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing the production of actuarial deliverables into our company's Solvency 2 processes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with other functions, including Risk and Finance, and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actuarial Deliverables: Calculate the best estimate of liabilities, the risk margin, and the underwriting risk SCR (Pillar I) to ensure accurate and compliant results.
  • ORSA Process: Assist with the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment process, including capital assessment, stress testing, and standard formula assessment (Pillar II).
  • Governance Framework: Maintain our company's governance framework, including result review, process documentation, and policy development.
  • Team Optimization: Transform our team's operating model by improving process efficiency and enhancing automation.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Ideally, a qualified actuary with a strong background in non-life insurance, preferably personal lines/P&C.
  • Experience: Experience with Solvency 2 and ORSA processes is essential for this role.
