Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Practice Nurse to join our team in Canterbury, Kent. As a locum Practice Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work closely with our team of healthcare professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, screening and treatment services, as well as health education advice to patients
- Work in participation with general practitioners or independently to agreed protocols
- Provide general and specific health screenings to the practice patients (within agreed protocols) with referral to general practitioners as necessary
- Advise patients on general health care and minor ailments with referral to GPs as necessary
Requirements
- Qualifications: Qualified practice nurse with minimum 2 years experience working in General Practice
- Possess treatment room skills
- Cervical screening training
- Childhood and Travel immunisation training
Salary and Benefits
Up to £30 per hour, depending on experience. You will also have access to our range of benefits and support.
